The deepest depths of Darkness hold the greatest treasures. But they are also a slippery slope into madness and despair. Perhaps if you can learn more about the Void and the nightmares that dwell within its unfathomably vast domain, you could find new ways to fight the Darkness...if you can control your greatest fears. But navigating this perilous precipice will be no easy task, and it is not for the weak willed. Your sanity will be taken to the limits, or beyond. Best to bring extra Whiskey. A Study in Terror allows your Hero Party with a Medical, Science, or Soldier Hero to descend into the darkest depths of their nightmares, turning any Mission into A Study in Terror, with a great potential for rewards at the cost of your sanity! This 15 card Supplement includes the A Study in Terror Adventure card outlining the mission modifiers and the Lurking Horrors Enemy Trait that can be assigned to any Enemies for greater challenge, as well as a new set of Encounters themed for reality-bending nightmares, and an all new deck of Field Study cards giving your Medical and Science Heroes powerful and rewarding personal research-themed side quests during any Adventure. —description from the publisher
